SurfaceInk Buys GPiO

San Jose-based device engineering and product development services provider SurfaceInk has acquired angel-backed GPiO, a developer of hardware engineering component decision making software. Financial terms of the acquisition, which was announced last week, were not detailed. GPiO was founded by Sagar Savant, who becomes part of SurfaceInk's engineering team.
