Google Acquires Orbitera

Mountain View-based Google has acquired software trial and billing software developer Orbitera, the company announced on Monday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Orbitera was based in West Hollywood, California, and had raised $2M in seed funding from Resolute Ventures. Google said it will continue to make Orbitera available to other software vendors.
