InstaVR Picks Up $2M For VR Authoring Tools
San Francisco-based InstaVR has raised $2M in a Series A funding, for its virtual reality authoring tools, the company announced on Monday. The funding came from The Venture Reality Fund. InstaVR targets its virtual reality authoring tools towards marketers and others who want to create VR content, but do not want to have to develop their own apps. InstaVR was founded by Daniel H. Haga. The company says its tool is being used by Smithsonian American Art Museum, AECOM and transcosmos Inc.
