Virtual Instruments Buys Xangati
San Jose-based Virtual Instruments announced this morning that it has acquired Xangati, a developer of hybrid cloud and virtualization performance management software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. The acquisition is the second buy for Virtual Instruments this year, after a merger with Load DynamiX. Virtual Instruments is backed by HighBar Partners. Xangati is also backed by HighBar, along with Alloy Ventures, Citrix, and Walden International, and had raised more than $21M in funding. Xangati is also based in San Jose.
