Slack Launches New Investment Fund, Slack Fund
San Francisco-based enterprise communications software developer Slack has launched its own investment fund, the Slack Fund, which is funding companies that connect to its tools. Slack said the new fund will back new companies that "bring more streamlined workflows" to the platform. As part of the launch of the fund, Slack has made investments in eleven companies: Statsbot; SwayFinance; Guru; Bold; Demisto; DataFox; Troops; WorkRamp; Synervoz; Twine; and Donut. All make software tools that operate in the Slack environment.
