Tricentis Takes $165M For DevOps Testing

Los Altos-based Tricentis, which develops continuous testing software for the DevOps market, has raised $165M in a Series B funding, the company said late Monday evening. The funding came from Insight Venture Partners. Tricentis is led by Sandeep Johri. The company's software is sold to enterprise customers. Tricentis said it will use the new funds for "market penetration" and to scale its operations. The company was advised by Pacific Crest Securities, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and Wolf Theiss in the deal; Insight's Mike Triplett joins the board.
