Bluesmart Picks Up $12M For Smart Luggage

Mountain View-based Bluesmart, which develops "smart luggage" products--luggage which includes embedded location tracking hardware, a battery for charging your smartphone, a built-in digital scale, and smartphone-enabled locks, has raised $12M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Tsing Capital, and also included Monashees+, Endeavor Catalyst, XG Ventures, and others. The company said the funding will go towards manufacturing and global operations in Asia. More information »
