Comprehend Systems Collects $15M For Clinical Trial Data Software
Redwood City-based Comprehend, a developer of software to automate the management of clinical trials, has raised $15M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Eminence Capital, and also included Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Kristopher Koka of Eminence Capital joins the company's board with the funding. Comprehend says it has now raised $44.5M in funding. Comprehend is led by Rich Morrison, and helps provide data management from clinical trials, helping to aggregate and automate collection of data across studies, sites, and contract research organizations.
