TerrAvion Lands $10M

San Leandro-based TerrAvion, which provides aerial data and imagery to the agricultural sector, announced on Monday that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Merus Capital, and also included Promus Ventures, Initialized Capital, and 10x Group. TerrAvion's CEO is Robert Morris, who the company says led the Army's first drone platoon in Afghanistan.
