Intersil Now Part Of Renesas

Milpitas-based power semiconductor developer Intersil is now officially part of Japanese electronics giant Renesas Electronics Corporation, the two said on Friday, after the deal formally completed last week. The deal had originally been announced in September of 2016, and was worth $3.2 billion. Dr. Necip Sayiner will continue to serve as President, CEO, an Director of Intersil, as part of Renesas.
