Google Acquires Kaggle

San Francisco-based machine learning startup Kaggle announced late Wednesday that it has been acquired by Google, and will become part of Google Cloud. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Kaggle said its team will remain together and will continue to develop Kaggle as a distinct brand within Google Cloud. Kaggle had been led by CEO Anthony Goldbloom, and was venture backed by Index Ventures, Khosla Ventures, SV Angel, Start Fund, and the Stanford Management Company, among others.
