Uber Self Driving Vehicle Rolls Over In Arizona

San Francisco-based Uber has temporarily suspended its self driving car program, after a rollover on Friday in Tempe, Arizona. Uber, which just moved its real life testing of vehicles to Arizona in February over safety concerns and a permit spat with California regulators, said it has suspended its self-driving car program after the crash. Apparently, one of Uber's autonomous vehicles crashed into another car in Tempe, when another driver failed to yield, and the vehicle rolled over on its side. Local reports said that there were only minor injuries, and that no passengers were in the back seat during the accident. Uber said it will suspend the program until it investigates the incident. The injuries were mild in this crash, compared with a recent accident in Seattle where a human Uber driver crashed with another vehicle, which then hit a gas station, creating a giant ball of flame and killing the driver of the other vehicle.
