Light Polymers Gains $5M

San Franciso-, Taiwan- and Korea-based Light Polymers, a company developer OLED technology, said on Wednesday that it has raised $5M in a strategic funding round. The funding was led by Tsingda International Venture Capital and TEL Venture Capital. Light Polymers, led by President and CEO Marc MCConnaghey, is commercializing research on the use of lyotropic liquid crystals in LED Lighting, LCD and OLED displays.
