Uber Hires Expedia's Khosrowshahi As CEO, Says Reports

San Francisco-based Uber's board has voted to hire Expedia CEO Dara Khosrowshahi to replace displaced founder Travis Kalanick, according to reports over the weekend. Khosrowshahi was selected after GE CEO Jeff Immelt said he would not take the Uber CEO position; Meg Whitman had also been named as a candidate for the role.
