Rallyteam Raises $8.6M

San Francisco-based Rallyteam, a startup developing software to help match their employees to skills, experiences, and interests has raised $8.6M in a Series A funding, the company announced this week. The funding came from Norwest Venture Partners and Storm Ventures, and also included Cornerstone OnDemand and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Rallyteam's CEO is David Somers, who previously was VP of Global Alliances and Strategic Initiatives at Cornerstone OnDemand.
