DataVisor Digs Up $40M

Mountain View-based DataVisor, a developer of machine learning tools to uncover fraud, money laundering, theft, and other issues, said Monday that it has raised $40M in its Series C funding round. The round was led by Sequoia China, and also included New Enterprise Associates and GSR Ventures. Rock Wang of Sequoia China joins the company's board as part of the funding. Yinglian Xie is CEO and co-founder of DataVisor; he and his co-founder were both at MIcrosoft Research Labs.
