Chalkup Acquired By Microsoft

San Francisco-based Chalkup, a startup developing e-learning software for teachers, has been acquired by Microsoft, to help Microsoft bolster its Microsoft Education products, the two companies said this morning. Financial details of the acquistiion were not announced. Chalkup had provided free software to teachers to communicate with students and parents. Chalkup's users are now being redirected to Microsoft's own software, Microsoft Teams for Education. Chalkup's CEO and founder is Justin Chando.
