Voicera Takes $20M
Menlo Park-based Voicera, a startup that is developing artificial intelligence-driven, enterprise, virtual assistants, said today that it has raised $20M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by e.ventures, and also included Battery Ventures, Cisco Investments, GGV Capital, Greycroft, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Microsoft Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and Workday Ventures. According to the company, the funding will go towards rollout of its voice driven, artificial intelligence system called "Eva", which listens in on meetings and conference calls, and provides transcriptions and summaries of those meeitngs and calls.
