Unchained Labs Raises $17M, Buys rap.ID
Pleasanton-based Unchained Labs, which provides life sciences software and tools, has raised $17M in a Series D funding, and acquired Rap.ID, which develops systems used in particle identification in biopharmaceutical development and quality control. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The Series D funding round came from Novo Ventures, Canaan Partners, TPG Biotech and Tri-Valley Ventures. Unchained Labs said the acquisition is its sixth in the last 3 years. Unchained Labs saysd it now has over 180 employees and $50M in revenues. More information »
