BorderX Gets $20M For Cross Border E-Commerce
Sunnyvale-based BorderX Lab, a deeloper of cross border e-commerce software, announced this morning that it has raised $20M in a series B funding. The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins, and also included Hillhouse Capital Group, CBC (China Broadband Capital), Welight Capital and iFly Venture Capital. The company said it will use the funding to expand beyond its base in China, to other countries. BorderX Lab develops e-commerce software which helps Chinese consumers access authentic U.S. and European lifestyle products and name brands, including Saks, Peter Thomas Roth, Finish Line, Forzieri and Everlane. The company, led by CEO Dr. Albert Shen, was founded by three former Google computer scientists. More information »
