Accel-KKR Buys Sageworks

Menlo Park-based private equity investor Accel-KKR has acquired SageWorks, a developer of financial software and information products for U.S. financial institutions, the companies said on Friday. Financial details of the buy were not announced. The companies said that Sageworks has more than 1,200 U.S. bank and credit union customers. Sageworks was founded by Brian Hamilton.
