Thoma Bravo Buys LogRhythm
San Francisco-based private equity investor Thoma Bravo said last week that it has acquired LogRhythm, a developer of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) software. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Thoma Bravo said it would acquire a majority interest in LogRhythm, in a deal which is expected to close in the third quarter of the year. LogRhythm was venture backed by Riverwood Capital, Adams Street Partners, Siemens Venture Capital, Delta-v Capital, EDBI (Singapore), Exclusive Ventures, and Silver Lake Waterman, and was based in Boulder, Colorado.
