Qualys Looks To Buy Second Front Systems

Foster City-based Qualys, a developer of cloud-based security and compliance software, said yesterday that it has entered into a non-binding, letter of intent to acquire Second Front Systems, a developer of cybersecurity products for the U.S. federal government. Financial detail sof the acquisition were not announced. According to Qualys, the deal would help it increase its domain expertise in building and delivering cybersecurity solutions tailored for the U.S. federal government, including defense, intelligence, and law enforcement.
