Crate.io Gets $11M For Database For IoT

San Francisco-based Crate.io, a developer of open source, SQL databases for the real-time machine data area, has raised $11M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Zetta Venture Partners and Deutsche Invest Equity plus Mike Chalfen, Momenta Partners, Charlie Songhurst, plus Draper Esprit, Vito Ventures and Solomon Hykes.
