Preempt Picks Up $17.5M More

San Francisco-basd Preempt, a developer of enterprise identity and access threat prevention software, has raised $17.5M in its Series B funding, the company said last week. The funding came from ClearSky, Blackstone, Intel Capital, and General Catalyst. Preempt develops threat identification software which use identity, behavior, and risk to prevent cybersecurity breaches. Patrick Heim of ClearSky joins the company's board with the funding.
