Apple Creates New Clean Energy Fund In China

Cupertino-based Apple said on Thursday afternoon that it is launching a brand new, clean technology investment fund specifically focused on China. According to Apple, its new China Clean Energy Fund is part of an effort to address climate change and increase use of renewable energy in its supply chain. Apple said it--along with 10 of its suppliers--will invest nearly $300M over the neat four years into the new fund.
