Pony.ai Picks Up $102M In Additional Series A Funding
Fremont-based Pony.ai, which develops mapping software for the autonomous vehicle market, has raised $102M more in its Series A funding--bringing the total raised in its first round of funding to an astounding $214M. The new funding was co-led by ClearVue Partners and Eight Roads. The company said new investors included Green Pine Capital Partners, China Merchants Capital, Redpoint Ventures China, Adrian Cheng (Founder of K11), and Delong Capital, who joined prior investors Sequoia Capital China, Morningside Ventures, DCM Ventures, and Hongtai Capital in the round.
