Broadcom Gets Nod On CA Technologies Acquisition
San Jose-based Broadcom said this morning that it has received approval of the company's proposed acquisition of CA Technologies, after the expiration of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976. Broadcom had announced its intent to acquisition CA Technologies on July 11th. The deal is worth $18.9 billion in cash. Broadcom said in July that it would pay $44.50 per share in cash to acquire CA, a developer of enterprise software.
