Asana Finds $50M More, At $1.5 Billion Valuation

San Francisco-based Asana said on Thursday that it has raised $50M more in a funding round, which values the company at $1.5 billion. The Series E funding round was led by Generation Investment Management, and also included 8VC, Benchmark Capital and Founders Fund, and new investors Lead Edge Capital and World Innovation Lab. Asana's co-founder and CEO is Dustin Moskovitz, the co-founder of Facebook. Asana said the new round brings the amount raised by the company in 2018 to $150M.
