Sverica Backs Synoptek Acquisition Of EarthLink Unit

San Francisco-based private equity investor Sverica Capital Management said it has backed the acquisition by Synoptek, of EarthLink's IT Services business. Financial details of that acquisition were not announced by the companies. Synoptek said the acquisition also included an equity financing from its Fund IV, Five Points Capital, and Portfolio Advisors, plus debt from Zions Bank and Comerica.
