Trimble Buys Meridian Systems

Sunnyvale-based Trimble, a provider of GPS components and systems, said Tuesday afternoon that it has agreed to acquire Meridian Project Systems, a Folsom-based provider of enterprise project management and lifecycle software. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Meridian's products are used for constructino product management.
