U-Systems Raises $10M
Sunnyvale-based U-Systems, a developer of automated breast ultrasound systems, announced Thursday afternoon that it has raised $10M in a funding round. The round was led by iD SoftCapital Group, and also included Sycamore Ventures, Lumira Capital, Radius Ventures and PIIH. The firm said the funding will go towards a clinical trial to determine if the firm's system is more sensitive than traditional mammography techniques. As part of the funding, Ed Yang of iD Venturse America and Wu-Fu Chen of id Innovation have joined the company's board. More information »
