Vizu Gets $2.9M For Web Polling

San Francisco-based Vizu Corporation announced this morning that it has raised $2.9M in a venture round from Draper Fisher Jurvetson and other investors, for its web-based opinion polling and market research service. Vizu operates Vizu Answers, which allows researchers to create online polls, which are posted by publishers, blogs, and others. $1.5M of the round came from DFJ. The firm said that the funding will go toward marketing and development. Other investors in Vizu include WR Hambrecht + Co, Amicus, and angel investors Ron Conway, Esther Dyson, Mike Maples, Jr., and Dave Whorton. More information »
