ZOZI Buys TripFlavor

San Francisco-based ZOZI, an online travel booking service which connects travelers with unusual, active activities, has acquired TripFlavor, a provider of a cloud-based reservation system for activity merchants and tour operators. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. TripFlavor was founded by Sam Edelson (formerly of Airbnb) and Gene Trabkin (formerly of Ning). TripFlavor was angel backed by Nathan Blecharczyk (co-founder & CTO of Airbnb), Mark Leslie (founder, chairman and CEO of Veritas Software), Ken Keller (co-founder of IGN Entertainment). Zozi is backed by LaunchCapital, Forerunner Ventures, 500 Startups, and others.
