8x8 Buys Voicenet Solutions

San Jose-based cloud communications provider 8x8 said today that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire UK-based Voicenet Solutions. According to 8x8, it will pay $18.4M in cash for Voicenet, which provides cloud business telephony and communications services in the United Kingdom. 8x8 said that Voicenet has over 1,000 business customers in the UK.
