Atomwise Collects $45M For AI Driven Pharmaceuticals
San Francisco-based Atomwise, which is developing artificial intelligence software aimed at accelerating pharmaceuticals, biotech, and agrochemical research, said Wednesday that it has raised $45M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Monsanto Growth Ventures, DCVC (Data Collective), and B Capital Group, and also included Y Combinator, Khosla Ventures, and DFJ. The company says its technology uses "deep learning" algorithms and supercomputing to analyze "millions" of potential medicines each day. More information »
