BuzzLogic Buys Activeweave

San Francisco-based BuzzLogic said today that it has acquired Activeweave, the firm which develops browser plug-in BlogRovR. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BlogRovR is a browser plug in which fetches posts from blogs about whatever web page you are browsing, and connects into popular instant messaging service Twitter. According to BuzzLogic, it has acquired all of Activeweave's assets, and has hired on CTO Jean Sini and CEO Marc Meyer. ActiveWeave was angel funded by Esther Dyson and Eric Di Benedetto. BuzzLogic said that the acquisition will strengthen the firm's advertising targeting product.
