Captus Networks Acquired

San Jose-based Captus Networks, a venture-backed firm developing intrusion prevention systems for the network security market, has been acquired by Texas-based Deep Nines. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Captus raised over $25M in venture funding, with investors including St. Paul Venture Capital, Celerity Partners, and GMG Capital Partners.
