Cetas Acquired By VMare

Palo Alto-based Cetas, a developer of cloud data analytics software, has been acquired by VMware, the firms said Tuesday, and will be integrated Cetas into VMware's cloud application platform and services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cetas was venture backed by Clearstone Ventures, True Ventures, Andy Bechtolsheim, and Dan Warmenhoven.
