Dell Buys ZING

Computer maker Dell said Monday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Mountain View-based ZING Systems Inc., a provider of audio and entertainment devices. Financial terms were not disclosed. Dell said that it will use ZING to improve the entertainment experiences it provides its consumers. ZING is venture backed by CampVentures, IDG Ventures, and Redpoint Ventures, and most recently raised $13M in a round in January.
