Droplet Technology Buys Sipcall

Menlo Park-based Droplet Technology announced today that it has acquired Sipcall, a provider of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) voice-over-IP services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sipcall runs Hipsip, a mobile data service which allows users to make Skype and SIP VoIP calls from their cell phones. Sipcall was angel backed, and launched its products in February. Sipcall was also based in Menlo Park.
