Dolby Buys Brightside Technologies

San Francisco-based Dolby Laboratories announced this morning that it is buying Brightside Technologies, a provider of high dynamic range (HDR) image technology, in a deal worth $28M in cash. Brightside developing technology used to create more vibrant video on LCD and project televisions. Dolby Laboratories is a developer of surround sound audio and other technology
