Envivio Files For IPO

South San Francisco-based Envivio, a provider of video processing services for compression and transcoding of video across the Internet, has filed for an IPO. The firm said Friday that it is looking to raised up to $69M in an IPO on the Nasdaq Global Market. The firm said it is looking to trade as ENVI. The IPO is being underwritten by Stifel Nicolaus Weisel, Piper Jaffray, Needham & Company, LLC, and William Blair & Company. The firm is venture backed by HarbourVest, Crescendo Ventures, Credit Agricole Private Equity, Atlantic Bridge Ventures, Saints Capital, and Fonds de solidarite des travailleurs du Quebec.
