Glu Mobile Looks To Acquire Superscape

San Mateo-based Glu Mobile said Wednesday that it is looking to acquire Superscape Group plc, a developer and publisher of mobile games. Glu Mobile said it offering to pay 10 pence in cash for each Supershape share, worth approximately $36M in stock for the firm. The acquisition is worth $25M, taking into account the $11M in cash that Superscape has on its balance sheet. Superscape develops mobile games, and is headquartered in San Clemente; the firm employs approximately 135.
