Google Buys Jambool

Mountain View-based Google has acquired Jambool, developer of the virtual currency and goods software Social Gold. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Jambool confirmed the acquisition by Google on Friday. Social Gold is used by developers of social networking games to manage virtual currency and virtual goods.
