Google To Buy Global IP Solutions
Mountain View-based Google and San Francisco-based Global IP Solutions said today that Google is making an offer to acquire Global IP Holdings in a deal worth $68.2M. According to the firms, the acquisition is structured as a cash offer by Google Acquisition Holdings to acquire GIPS for $2.12 in cash per share. GIPS is publicly held on the Stockholm exchange. Global IP Solutions provides technology used for voice and video processing in IP communications. The firms said that SEB Enskilda is acting as an advisor to Google in the deal, and ABG Sundal Collier Norge ASA is advising GIPS.
