iGware Acquired By Acer For $320M

Mountain View-based iGware, a developer of cloud software and infrastructure tools, has been acquired by Acer, Acer said today. Acer said it will pay $320M plus up to $75M in earnout. iGware's tools are used for supporting consumer devices, including Nintendo's Wii, iDS, and 3DS. iGware is headed by Dr. Wei Yen.
