Intel Buys Egyptian Firm

Santa Clara-based Intel said today that it has acquired an Egyptian firm, SySDSoft, a software company based in Cairo. SySDSoft develops software for the embedded RF/analog circuit market. Intel said it has hired approximately 100 of the firm's electrical engineers and computer scientists in the dea. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
