Intraware Acquired By Acresso Software

Chicago-based Acresso Software, a portfolio firm of private equity firm Thoma Bravo, said yesterday that it has agree to acquire Orinda, California-based Intraware Incorporated. Intraware is a provider of web-based delivery and software distribution tools. The deal was worth $4.00 per share of Intraware, or approximately $27M. Acresso Software is also a manufacturer of software licensing tools and software update tools.
