Layer42 Networks Acquired By Wave

Mountain View-based Layer42 Networks, which provides business-to-business Inernet connectivity, colocation, and data transport services in the Bay Area, has been acquired by Wave, the two said this morning. Wave whcih is based in Kirkland, Washington, is a broadband and colocation services provider. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Wave said the acquisition will help it expand into Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, and in particular with connectivity in Mountain View.
